Margaret has been an adjunct professor in NYU’s Professional and Continuing Education program, having taught courses in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Organizational Behavior and the Coaching Practicum. She is also a popular public speaker and facilitator for conferences and professional associations, including the Financial Executives Institute, Conference Board, National ASTD Leadership Conference, ATD Houston and the New Jersey State SHRM Conference. She is certified in both The Leadership Circle 360 leadership effectiveness assessment and EQ-I 2.0, a 360 assessment of emotional intelligence. She is a certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs) practitioner and also uses the DISC assessments to improve communication, manage conflict and build teams. She is a past president of the New York Metro American Society for Training and Development (now ATD) and a member of the Houston chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Margaret serves on the board of United Campus Ministries of Greater Houston and is a volunteer coach for Urban Promise International, a faith-based organization that serves vulnerable children and teens in our world’s most under-resourced communities.
